Baby Estelle, Rebecca, Robin, Liam & Matteo

It can be difficult with such a creative profession to come up with unique and fresh ideas for every shoot but not this one. It's a lot of fun when the client has their own ideas, even more so when they have a theme too. :) Baby Estelle's daddy Robin was french so they wanted a couple of french themed photos using some amazing props that they had brought along with them. My favourite was the huge "Boulangerie" board. When a client has these ideas it's up to me as the photographer to implement them in a creative but stylish way, so its always a welcome challenge to push my skills. The whole family were amazing after Estelle's older brothers Liam and Matteo had had their own newborn shoots before AND even done some professional modelling too. I couldn't believe my luck when I was able to try some sibling shots I'd been toying with for a while. Perfect shoot!!

Tori's Newborn Studio Shoot

Baby Tori, Cheri, Marc & Karen

Marc and Tori wanted to have a studio newborn session and being from Canada they were all big baseball fans, especially Marc! :) I absolutely love it when clients want to do something unique and that I havnt’t photographed before. So we went for some baseball themed shots which came out really well.

Adam's Newborn Studio Shoot

Baby Adam, Lydia & Steve

Lydia & Steve brought their wonderful first baby boy Adam to my studio for a session. He was an awesome sleeper, not only that he was asleep for long periods but he would pop into the most hilarious sprawled out positions. Apparently just like his dad I was told. For their first newborn session Lydia and Steve settled into it effortlessly and were a brilliant couple. We managed to use a nice range of props, outfits and also capture some traditional white background family photos.

Oscar's Newborn Studio Shoot

Baby Oscar, Lucy & Simon

When little Oscar was only six days old mum and dad, Lucy and Simon made a little visit to my home studio along with Alex, their eldest son of 2.5 years. Having already had a newborn session in Singapore for Alex when he was born, Lucy and Simon were relaxed pro's and super easy to work with. Luckily little Oscar was also a pro at sleeping. It rarely happens but he almost slept through the whole shoot, even with all the outfit and prop changes, only waking for the odd feed. He was an absolute gift and a pleasure!! We even managed to convince older brother Alex to get a few sibling photos, which is not easy when there is a new kid on the block. :)

Harry's Newborn Studio Shoot

Little baby Harry visited my studio at less than 2 weeks old and was a super performer. He was so chilled and easy to pose. Mom and Dad wanted a mixture of baby prop and poser photos as well as some stylish black background ones.

Rex's Newborn Studio Shoot

Baby Rex, Laura & Nick

I am good friends with Laura and Nick so I was particularly honoured when asked to photograph their beautiful baby boy Rex! Now the most striking thing about Rex was his INCREDIBLE barnet (hair). I absolutely love photographing babies with a full head of hair because I think it gives them so much character and they look adorable! Some of the poses we were trying with Rex were particularly challenging but he was sooooo sleepy that he made it easy for me. I really dream baby to work with!

Matteo's Newborn Studio Shoot

Little Matteo was 2 weeks old when Caitlin brought him in to my studio. We had already met one before at Matteo’s older brothers birthday party but he was only a twinkle in the eye at that point! Hehe. Matteo was fantastic and Caitlin so relaxed during the shoot.

Baby Pablo came to my studio when he was a little older, around 3 weeks. But you would have never known that because he was very sleepy and whomb like which makes it much easier to pose them.
